rupa3 2.09.12 - 12:11am The moon was once in two halves its da crack on moon proved that Prophet (sw) split iit in two halves once (sound of laughter) wurlitza 3.09.12 - 11:49am The moon being split in two is a serious a belief as it gets? You honestly believe that? 1signup2 3.09.12 - 12:22pm every bit of it.. (more laughter) afriend 3.09.12 - 12:28pm Ibn Umar (ra) narrated that when the moon split, the Prophet (saw) said: O Allah, be witness! (Bayhaqi, Muslim, Tirmizi). propidol 3.09.12 - 01:04pm But this is purely an allegorical tale using the splitting of the moon as a sign of judgement day as a warning to previous generations of disbelievers. The hour draws near, the moon is split. The Arabic uses the past tense, as if that day were already here to help the reader or listener imagine how it will be. It wasnt an actual event but clearly refers to the end of the world. afriend 3.09.12 - 02:26pm Nope, it was an actual event that took place. It happened in Mecca, and one half of the moon was seen on one side of the mountain, and the other half was seen on the other side of the mountain.
