I need the good and the bad about this car from you guys: fuel economy, speed acceleration, your own personal experiences especially. Thanks. |

Really great cars. Rare, quick, pleasure to drive, practical. Relatively economical

I have driven a few mondeo v6's.. The 2.5lts! And they can be very thirsty.. 12mpg driven hard in town.. High 20's to 30 on a motorway! So the 3.0lt st will use more than that.. If its performance you want, get the petrol st.. Or if you want an econominal car, i would get the 2.2lt diesel st!

I figured as much. Im use to driving an e36 M3 and its not exactly economical. So as far as 3l motors go, i hope im use to them in terms of economy.

No, the 3l wll average about 25 miles to the gallon. Thats not bad all things considered. Impreza's are far worse on the juice too, even basic ones

yeh, 25mpg is about rite.. But u gota drive like a granny to get that.. My m8 got 1 down to 9mpg!lol had a few mods tho! Hay, if the petrol anit and issue u no what to do.. Oh, but think of the resale value! The petrols aint holding much value at the mo.. And ther are sum real cheap ex police st220's on ebay! Mite be worth a look!

Nah ebay isn't in S.africas favour when purchasing dude, but thanks anyway. Scoobys are amazing to drive, but d*mn thirsty. I've heard the STs thirsty, which worries me only cause im planning a long trip in dec to the coast- bout 800km. We work economy in litres per 100km. Im too lazy to do the maths.

nah you don't- thats just combined. Ok so if you drive it in city most it'll be less but its average between motorway and city stuff. If you thrash it constantly course it'll be less but then again so will pretty much anything petrol with more than 200bhp, few exceptions
