Autofocus means the lense actualy adjusts itself when focusing, it sends micro waves out the lense and adjusts the lense to the info it gets when the waves come back. Fixed focus means the focus is preset, so if its set at 5m then anything from 5m up will be in focus any less will get blurry, the lense doesnt move. Autofocus is generally better especialy for Macro/close shots.

No prob bud. Most phones with Auto focus can be set to fixed focus, so its better to just get a phone with auto focus.

Hey guys, what's the difference between 'fixed focus' and 'EDoF' which is also known as 'full focus' or 'enhanced fixed focus'? Is the enhancement in EDoF acheived by hardware or just software?
