Bookmakers are optimistic that england have this in the bag. Infact some bookmakers have australia at 10/1. What has happened to australian cricket |

England deserve to be favourites but to put the aussies at 10 to 1 is ridiculous.might have a little punt on that in the mornin

Yea that is definitely worth a punt. Chuck 50 on tomorrow me thinks. Doubt they have much of a chance but 10/1 is a bit rough.

maybe slightly. englands weak point is there ability to collapse spectacularly while batting although. looking at tgeir batsmen individually up with the best in the world. they got great bowlers and aussies all round are v avg. unless we collapse spectacularly every innings its englands in the bag. surely pieterson is over rated?

Poor decision by Cook to bat, he should've put Aus in. Brilliant fight back in the final session though with that fantastic ball by Jimmy. Game on this morning and anyone with a ticket for day 5 will be disappointed.

disagree there. the pitch is guna be a dusty cracked up piece of turd come days 4 n 5. cook madw the right decision batting first,

There was cloud cover all day and the lights were on from the start. That suggested the ball would swing as it did so I think Cook was too cautious. It made for a fantastic opening day though, similar conditions for a couple of hours today would be nice.

@ v8 - 11.07.13 - 07:58am disagree there. the pitch is guna be a dusty cracked up piece of turd come days 4 n 5. cook madw the right decision batting first, u clearly misunderstood. at this point a day 5 seems quite unlikely |

It's gone to a fifth day and it's four wickets for England or 137 runs for Australia to decide the first test. This is building up to be another epic series.
