In A.D.321, Constantine decreed all business should cease on the honored day of the sun, and substituted Sunday for Saturday as the official day for Christian worship and rest, something that had been practiced for more than two centuries. This further divided Christianity and Judaism. The controversy over the Jewish Shabbat, Christian Sunday came up at the first real ecumenical Council of Nicea, A.D.325, which concluded Sunday to be the day of Christian rest and worship.

The Roman emperors took the concepts and claims of Christian theologians against the Jews and Judaism and put them into practice. No longer spreading its gospel message im love, the church truly became the church triumphant ready to vanquished its foes, which included the Jews.

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. John 20, v 19

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. John 20 v 26. The early Christians met on the 1st day of the week to celebrate his resurection. i do not despise anyone who does not keep the 1st day..
