I guess its the Nokia specific apps, the build, camera and other stuff that will differentiate the Nokia Windows phone. It is the same with Android or Symbian - each device will have design, specs and os aesthetics that appeal to different people.

For example, I would never have bought a windows phone from any manufacturer but Nokia and had no design to buy one until Nokia joined Microsoft.

It just seems to me that the differentiation isnt that much between the Lumia800 and other WP7 phones, unlike in Android where you 3 diff devices e.g Galaxy S2, Sensation XE and Arc S, all are high end, all Android but very well differentiated from UI, hardware, and design, in WP7 it seems design and a few apps are the only difference you get and maybe the camera.

If MS could just allow a little bit more customization IMO, WP could pick up pace quickly, i think at this point the consumers get confused between what WP to take and end up going for a Android or iPhone.

Android differentiation is a mess except for Sense UI. Android community is nothing more than a bunch of kids boasting how long their spec sheet is

I've received Lumia 800, and I feel that WP doesn't need any customisation. With the standard UI, MS can update every device in just few days. As you can see, Mango was rolled out to every other WP device. Unlike the ICS which won't even come to previous years flagship phones.

The so called 'mess' in Android gives the customer a wide variety options, ck you are thinking from a geek's perspective, your average customes doesnt care for updates, they want variety and in WP there isnt much of it.

Lol, i was thinking the same, remember how he pushed the N8's specs last year? Now suddenly the spec sheet doesnt matter ive actualy watchd many 2010 Symbian fans change to that this year ONLY when the Lumia800 arrived.
