First off, Ross McIntosh, one of the team's administrators, mentioned the ability to take screenshots. Gameplay-wise, he added, You can turn off the 40mm grenade, you can turn off the bullseye tag, you can create a private game that is password protected now.

As you can probably guess, it's the password-protected game we're definitely interested in. He also mentioned that round balancing will be made more aggressive, so that the shuffling of teams will create more balanced groups. McIntosh also discussed that the new voice chat option in custom games will allow users to talk to anyone in the game, including people from the other team and spectators.

Midway and Epic today announced that Unreal Tournament 3 has gone to gold master for the PC. Developed by the team behind the critically acclaimed video game Gears of War, Unreal Tournament 3 is currently scheduled to ship in North America on November 19th for the PC with a suggested retail price of 49.95 and 59.95 for the collectors edition. The PlayStation3 version will follow soon.

According to Midway the plan is to ship in the US on the 19th and in Europe on the 22nd. We don't have dates for the PS3 version yet but we're putting the finishing touches on it now and it is going to be great. from mark reign at epic

EA Sports have signed F1 star Lewis Hamilton in a 5 million deal that will see the British star front a F1 game. Sony has held the official license exclusively for F1 since the 2003 season, however rumours have suggested that rights holders have been looking to pass the license on to a major third party publisher in order bring the sport to other formats, maximising its exposure.
