Having heard that the UK is locking down again for a month, I have been watching the numbers climbing slowly in South Africa as life almost returns to normal except for the presence of sanitiser bottles at the entrance to shops, etc... Even just looking out at the people walking around in small groups on the streets, around half couldn't be bothered about masks or keeping the recommended safe distance, etc... The government here dismissed rumors about a second lock down as untrue, which is madness since we've been hovering around 2000 new cases daily for the last week or two, so I can only presume that the government will be locking down again, I'm just hoping to be on a non lock down period for the festive season, although I have a suspicion that this might be the most likely time we'll be forced into lock down lol |

Exactly it's the people who think it's ok to flaunt the rules. Make sure there fined.

A month in lockdown from thursday, we should have gone into lockdown when kids started their 2 week break. Everyone thought it would happen then but Boris knew better and started this tier thing and the virus spread.

Has your government also intermittently sent opposing messages throughout all of this too?

Yes. They went way too far and now have to backtrack to prevent total economic collapse. I think people here have realized this is a meme virus. We're on 2000 cases a day which is nothing. The true estimate is around 10 to 15 million people have it. Which makes the mortality rate even more miniscule.

@ wakeup4 - 1.11.20 - 10:44am The great reset on the way and we continue to let them get away with it. State managed capitalism just like China total nightmare if the great reset is on the way, then that is far more scary than a relatively harmless virus how many ppl would you blow off the face of the earth, to continue having a licence to print money, knowing that if that licence is taken away, your country will be back to the stone age within weeks. |
