Intel are apparently giving up on MeeGo due to lack of market interest, and will focus on what they do best, we should see some Intel based Androids and even Windows Phone devices in the not so distant future. Nokia pretty much ditched Intel with their Microsoft announcement, since then its just been downhill with Meego: http://is.gd/S8CHBy |

Intel are denying the rumours, they claim that they remain committed to MeeGo: http://is.gd/jUDSBE that was a close one, i would love to see Meego crush WP and be the 3rd eco system seeing as WebOS has been killed off.

Agreed Crail. Gotta have a phone with a qwerty pad. Thats why i had an N97 before i picked up my N900.

Definitely. Even before having one, i tried a touch screen only phone and i hated it. Tried my mates iphone and i hated it. If Apple ever made a qwerty version i bet they will double the sales.

i gave away my htc desire just because i couldnt type on it and games suffer with a capacitive screen and thin bezel. just dont respond always because it thinks youre toutching the screen in two places. got to hold the phone right. same with my n8. n900s screen is the best ive used. only resistive ive used but it never misses a touch and is so accurate. i can hit a 1mm link with the edge of my thumb everytime, but even on my gfs desire hd 4.3in screen i struggle.
