al qaeda are trying to take credit for the arab spring.. exactly how deluded are these people? as far as i can see it was/is normal people rising up to overthrow despots and dictatorships. obviously al qaeda members were undoubtably joining in with the violence, but to claim credit? no. |

be aware we have a zero tolerance for supporters of terrorism on this site, so if you're an extremist (of ANY denomination) it's probably best to moderate your own replies.. or face banning/deletion.

they are doing so, to get back in power. You know to make people think that Al qaeda should run their country.

yeah i know.. seems a bit desperate though. i don't think they like the thought people can actually act independantly with their help..

Well this is my personal opinion, al qaida is not a muslim organisation altho they labelled themselves muslims, and wotever they hv done, were done in d name of Islam...So basicaly al qaeda is an organisation which defame Islam n muslims

i agree @junaid23. all they've done for Islam is a great job of turning people against muslims. it's not good for that faith. they need wiping out.. and personally i think it should be muslims who need to hunt them down and destroy. they are demonising the Islamic faith. they are a terrorist organisation hiding behind the cloak of religion. unfortunately there are also many who support them...

Things are so complicated. Who exactly is Al-qaeda? Do you consider the Afghan taliban to be part of Al-qaeda? I don't think anyone knows the truth...
