such a good film in places. However, as much as i think mel brooks can make a funny film, i think he should stay out of em as he just isn't funny and always plays the same, high powered insane s*x mad character and it just isn't funny anymore. Found blazing saddles on tape the other day, the part with the guy punching the horse always gets me |

there was an early film he did, the 12 chairs? it's called something like that. it's about this guy who makes money by pretending to have epileptic fits in the street, anyway he teams up with this guy who is looking for treasure that is hidden in a chair. dom deluise was in it, a good movie.

Erm , I don't think there has been a new Mel Brooks comedy since Space ba11s . But Young Frakenstein and Blazing Saddles are two of my Mell Brooks favorites . Silver Streak left a little to be desired .
