Ok got your attention  ok i have a tyttn2, and have co.pilot live. Which is on a memory card thingy.. But now my phone is running low on storage space and i'd like to insert a memory card.. But can't cos my sat nav chip lives there.. What is a guy supposed to do? I need my sat nav but i also need storage space.. Any ideas.. This could be a dumb question cos im not that good with phones thanks |

Copy the copilot live data from it's storage card onto a larger capacity card using a PC and card reader, then utilise the free space for your other stuff. And next time don't make WARNING topics unless you have a genuine security advisory.

Ok  i take your point but its wap so its hardly gonna be that bigger issue apart from waste a minute of you life, of which im sorry.. Thanks tho garion.. Still not totally sure how to do it tho.

I didn't mean to be rude @youwho  but it's often on wapsites like this that you first hear of phone viruses or other potential threats to your device (see the Wap Push Threat topic). If you don't have access to a PC with a card reader, you'll almost certainly have a friend who does - it'll only take a few minutes.

Ok garion,point taken. Ok back to topic, i have a laptop with reader. Is it a case of drag and drop? I have never used the card reader so not sure what to do.

K im not a PC guy either, bt what u should do i copy that whole folder u nd to ur PC for back up, then insert ur new memory card into ur phone and copy that folder back to the phone with the new mem card in it. Thats what i usualy do when i get a new memcard. Hope that helps.
