It's Eta Aquarid time of year again folks. The annual meteor shower caused as the earth passes through the debris field left behind by Halley's Comet. It will be near peak intensity tonight and tomorrow night but will still be visible until tues/wed next week. Unfortunately the moon will block out the fainter ones this year but their should be some brighter ones still visible for anyone prepared to look for half an hour or more. The best time to look is, as always, any time after midnight but especially in the last hour/hour and a half before daybreak.

Hubble telescope captures spectacular image of light bending through space Hubbles picture, which is reminiscent of a beautiful piece of modern art, shows mysterious arcs of blue light bending around hundreds of yellow- white and elliptical galaxies. These arcs are the result of a phenomenon known as 'gravitational lensing', when the collective gravity of the hundreds of billions of stars warps space. The warping bends the light traveling through the cluster and drags it toward Earth. . . @ mok214 - 16.05.17 - 03:50am Nothing you ever copy and pasted ever disproved an existance of a god. Troll much? You're correct, it hasn't... but nothing can ever prove that. How would one go about proving such a thing? You can't prove that something doesn't exist, only that it does. The burden of proof falls to the person/people claiming the existence of magic sky fairies, not the other way around. |
