If you have ever been in the army or away at boarding school then you can handle prison. Prisons are a soft touch these days. Apart from the category A prisons that is. Gone are the days of bread and water or mistreating prisoners.

I did army cadets and went to boarding school, but fu*ked if I want to go to prison.

I missed cadets by a year, they stopped doing it at CBC just as I got there.

They used to do our passing out parade on one of the hottest days, and people would literally just.. pass out. lol

3 meals a day, Clothes cleaned for you, Showers, Free gym, Pool tables and all the green you could smoke wasn't that bad tbh

Circumstances in prisons in SA too are indeed better than years ago. But no way I want to be incarcerated. Nope thanks. Lots of fights in there still break out, vicious fights by the way and it's not pretty.

And with the offenders going out on parole, some of the parole conditions will be revise too. With the fact that it's now legal in SA to use or smoke marijuana at home.
