How's your mental health now that Christmas is almost upon us? Is Christmas affecting you due to all the fuss or lack if it? Myself, I'm pretty ok ATM, but Christmas day will be busy family one and I'll be glad when I get back home. I'm an introvert and the type of person who can handle their own company quite well, but not everyone can! How about you ? Is Christmas fuss or the lack of it getting to you? |

If you're alone and feeling down, you're not alone. There are so many services out there offering help to lonely or depressed people. If you know someone who lives alone, just having a chat with them can make all the difference. http://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/tips-for-everyday-living/christmas-and-mental-health/christmas-and-mental-health/ |

We keep Christmas just to ourselves, just me and the Mrs. We speak to relatives on the blower and that's cool. Personally with the covid situation i'd rather be safe than sorry. My mental health is just fine..despite what some of you folk may think. |

I just hate the presents thing. And just generally having to choose loads of special things for people who don't tell me what they'd like. It's nice to spend time with people and make sure the kids have a few new things to enjoy, but it's not for me to know or choose what adults like or want. Like wine? Bring some wine. I'll bring some beer. That many cakes will go in the bin cos I don't eat cake. It's a fkn mess, Christmas. Last thing I need at this time of year. Might be more fun for the Aussies, tho. |

It's seeming that everyone 'who has' replied is well and in good spirits.. Happy Christmas to everyone. If you haven't replied and are feeling crappy, post anything here, or inbox me or one of the others who replied and hopefully it will help. |

Fantasy can be depressing. You spend Christmas alone, imaging how great it'd be to be with friends and fam. And even when reminded it ain't what it's cracked up to be, and you only remember the best bits, it doesn't tarnish the envy of those who will be busy tomorrow. But it should. There will be tears, probably screaming, and clenched teeth. If you think it can be better, and people can be happy, then you have something to work towards. |
