What's your current weight and are you happy with it. If you're unhappy, are you planning to reduce/increase your weight? Apparently, I'm slightly a fat bast*rd. 6' 1'' height and 14stone 2 pounds. NHS BMI says I need to loose 10 pounds to be in their healthy weight guide. http://www.nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-weight/bmi-calculator/ I think I shall do just that. |

BMI doesn't differentiate between muscle and fat, so very muscular people, lean as fk, are flagged as being morbidly obese. This flaw also works (or fails, as the case may be) in the less extreme bracket. Which means that you can lose fat, build a little muscle, and still show as overweight and obese on the BMI. Tldr; throw away the BMI chart, bin the bathroom scales, and simply look after yourself. |

I'm good.. don't trust BMI and neither the scale's reading either, it can't tell the different between fat and muscle. if you want to weigh, get a scale that tells you your weight, BMI, muscle mass, water percentage etc, i have one of those. it's better than just a weight scale, so you see when your water weight or muscle mass has changed. Better way to check your healthy weight /size I measure your waist. your waist should n half of your height. if it's more, make a plan and eat less, move more, do weights
