hi guys, apparently, my cpu is damaged. My laptop is hp compaq cq40 104ax. The cpu is AMDTurion X2 RM-70. My question is, i have other used broken laptop with intel pentium cpu. Can i use that intel cpu to replace the amd cpu, which is swapable? |

buy a used cpu off ebay but research before buy or youll cry ,also youll cry when you disassemble your laptop , i did a hp one last year and wished i hadn't,..despite all was fine upgraded from 1.7 single to 2.4 dual ,.dont be in a rush ,have lots of ziplock bags etc and a camera to hand othwise youll mix stuffs up and cry evenmore i had 6 spare screws leftover after reassembly
