the next version of windows isn't far away but it turns out windows has decided to drastically restrict the computers that will be able to install it. http://youtu.be/qrH4zEBmztc if you've watched the video what do you think ? they seem to have decided to keep the trend of alternate versions only ever being popular with users. there will be some uproar over it, I'm imagining they might cave in and backtrack if it's technically possible. |

It will most propably run on most computers anyway thru microsoft giving in to backlash or modding. Remember always online on xbox and other things they dropped because of ppl pushing back. Will just have a recommendation to use with tpm 2.0 for extra security thats it. By that time windows 10 will lose support in 2025 most computers will be replaced anyway with built in tpm supported motherboards. Those damn scalpers went for the physical tpm modules already cleaning up ![]() |

I watched a video where it was booted up on a very old 32bit laptop with 1gb of ram. it undoubtedly works if you change a few files the installer reads. Microsoft just wants to boost their profits by making more people buy new laptops, new computers is more licenses sold to manufacturers. http://youtu.be/5rDJyMXbPdE |

@ sisfreak2017 - 8.07.21 - 02:34am What's wrong with my Windows ME ? ![]() You will get visitors slipping in from the back door from all the shady sites you browse on it. Better luck with ms defender on a modern windows. If you unplug the lan cable and just use ms paint to draw your wan k material you will be safe. |

This computer is only about a year old so no chance i'm buying another one ![]() Tpm should be enabled before installing the os so it can encrypt your bootdrive. Enabling it on a existing install is no good. Also it will encrypt your drive if you do a fresh install so i doubt that recovering any data when it fails will be easy. An ssd should not degrade that fast. I have been using ssd-s since 2010 i think and i have yet to have one fail. I keep all the old ones for extra storage so there constantly in use. My main nvme bootdrive is also 4 years old and no problems. I would not be too vorried about it. |
