ok one next question I also av an iPhone which is wack cause I can't download apps other frm cydia , app store etc! Does android let u download freely off the Internet

yes, you just need to change the security setting to let you install apps not from the market. see the update post as regular updates for the most useful apps get posted in there thanks to Lee.

Hi welcome to the family :) , you can install apps easily from the market or off the internet from various sites e.g. 4shared or download applanet/apktor (paid apps for free) to this as mentioned briefly by rpd.fire, just go in to settings on your phone and tick the 'unknown sources' box which you can find in settings, applications. this will allow you to download third party apps. enjoy.

go to settings - mobile networks - network mode - wcdma only. select it if you are sure about 3g network in your area or else select duel mode, it will automatically select 3g if its available or will switch to edge
