We're launching Playfire Rewards into BETA. What does this mean? Money for playing games? Yes! GMG Credit is yours for the taking - all you have to do is play your games, earn your achievements and have a good time. In order to get involved, all you have to do is log into Playfire using your Green Man Gaming account details, click on 'Sign in through Steam' to verify your details and that's you ready to go. The Playfire Rewards BETA allows you to do the following: Earn GMG Credit for gameplay activity and signing up to the Playfire newsletter (you can do this in your Playfire settings page) Spend your GMG Credit on any product on the GMG Store Compete against your friends and the Green Man Gaming Playfire community in the new Playfire Steam leaderboards. As this is a BETA, we've restricted rewards to the following games. Each has 3 achievements you're able to earn, varying from Easy to Medium and then Hard. The trickier the achievement, the more Reward credit you'll earn. Goddit?! http://blog.playfire.com/2013/12/playfire-rewards-beta.html |

Anyone else doing this? It's not much but it's easy money. 6.20 so far.

Is it on console?

Playfire tracks console games, but you only earn money from doing Steam achievements at the moment. I don't know if they plan on changing that. 6.20 in a week. Maybe I can get SimCity for free by the time the offline patch is released. |

You're the one pumping this up, so what are you getting out of it? Is it that everybody that downloads this will also be mining bitcoins for you?

I get a warm fuzzy feeling inside knowing that I have helped people to get free games. Seriously, do your research, Green Man Gaming is a reputable site and they own Playfire. |

Downloading what exactly? You can track steam achievements without downloading anything. And yes GMG are reputable, cheaper than steam in a number of cases.

It's still in beta. The money that has been registered as being earned doesn't usually disappear.
