Those disobedient to their parents.. Those who cut off ties with their relatives.. And those who harbour ill-feelings in their hearts against their fellow brethren and break off relations with them..'

Wa 3alaikumsalaam. Assalamu3alaikum. Abu Umamah R.A. narrates that Nabi Sallallahu 3alaihi wasallam said, aw qamaa qaal, 'Verily, Allah does not accept any deed except that which was done sincerely only for Him in order to obtain only His Pleasure.'

Sa'aad R. A. narrates, Nabi Sallallahu 3alaihi wasallam said, aw qamaa qaal, 'Allah only helps this Ummah because of its weak: by their Du3a, Supplication; Salaah, and Ikhlaas, Sincerety; and not because of their abilities and talents.

Whoever is deprived of its blessings, has indeed deprived of almost all good.. And none is deprived of its good except he who is completely unfortunate..'

'Standing' refers to Salaah as well as any other form of 3Ebaadah, Tilaawah, Thikr, Du3aa etc.. The phrase: '...with sincere hope of gaining reward..' means that one should be sincerely occupied with 3Ebaadah solely for the Pleasure of Allaah, and to receive reward from Him... One should have complete Faith in the promise that any deed shall be rewarded, and one must stand before Allaah with earnestness and enthusiasm..
