Yes, have them all removed and replaced. I know 2 people that have done this, and they were happy the result. A mouth full of bad teeth can cause so many problems. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Will be a tough adjustment, emotionally and physically to start, but the peace of mind in knowing that I've protected my long term health would be worth it I think. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I dont ave many teeth left and i eat better now than when i add a full set of teeth and i enjoy the taste of food so i say no too dentures. I broke all my teeth due to aveing recurring attacks of bronchtis.

@ guyver - 12.01.14 - 08:33pm wow im surprised teeth have an impact on your heart... i think i would have all the teeth removed, it seems to make more sense. why continue getting oral infections and risk the health of your heart, when you can just remove all the teeth and problem solved. yes i imagine the emotional impact of losing all your teeth would be great and distressing, but i think the implications of keeping them are more serious than losing them. and as you said, the teeth themselves are dead and look bad anyway. If you have poor oral hygiene, the bacteria that causes gum disease gets into your blood stream and causes heart disease. It can happen to anyone |
