So I think this is worthy for a topic because it has been on my mind for years. This time I was in a shop and I saw my bus coming from the window so I left everything and went out in a rush to catch my bus. As ppl went out of the bus I'm pretty sure the driver saw me and he could wait for me but when I made it in front of the door he pressed the pedal and went away leaving me in the station. Why are some bus drivers like this?  |

Some are okay, others are idiots or grumpy fkrs, so it must have been one of the idiots, as i have had a few of those in my time.

Years back when my eldest was 2. And my second eldest was only just out of the hospital. The bus pulled up and i had to fold up her pushchair and carry all the bags and two kids to get on a bus. Well he watched me doing this and drove off. I cussed him out massively.

They have buses now you can just wheel a pram on. Ive seen big as s double pushchairs on em. But back in the day it was a nightmare.

I understand they have a schedule, but some would literally pretend they wait for you and when you made it, they would close the door and fk away without you. That's what I don't understand.

Bus drivers are on a schedule, I remember once I was on a bus and the driver was a bit late so he sped around corners and I was practically hanging on to a railing as I was standing up so I wouldn't be thrown around the bus. It was that bad. |

Being treated like crap by other motorists, ungrateful passengers, sometimes abusive, doing wtf they like on your bus - it's a beta's job for most of it but it also takes some serious responsibility, a cool but strong head. Seeing someone about to miss their bus, well if i was the driver, that'd be like a cherry on a cake for me. I'd have to let them get real close, then drive off, just to ease the stress with the warm satisfaction of being able to do that.. Obviously there are safety implications there for someone being left stranded, i wonder if bus drivers should be given incentive to ensure that people who need a lift are to get one, but i don't know how that could be done. |
