@ slago - 12.08.17 - 07:27pm I saw somethin on a friends timeline, bout a new disease that comes with vaping. I smoke and disagree Mike, it's still hard to quit, guess it depends where you are, it seems easy to you bro, especially when you're addicted. I congratulate pw, its a good thing, healthwise even, I don't even know where to start quitting. It was easy because i'm in control of my actions, and don't believe my own bullshit. I do what i want, when i want, and not. I'd be pretty fkn pathetic if i let my body dictate to me what i do, i'm a soul, it's a bunch of chemicals. You don't start quitting. You either smoke or you don't. There is no start. I used to try just social smoking, having one if i was down the pub, but the nature of it, i no longer liked it if i hadn't had one all week. It's a comfort blanket. Once you admit and acknowledge what it is, you can act. People talk about willpower.. what a load of bollocks that is. No matter how much willpower you have, you can't walk through a brick wall. But the brick wall is just your imagination, it isn't actually there. What you need is the right attitude, and you no longer smoke. It was that simple, it is that simple. |

You've never been deep enough into an addiction to have a say how easy it is to get away from, mikey

And what is the depth of an addiction, but the depth of what i've explained? I was a heroin addict in the mid '90s, and i gave that up just the same whilst friends lost everything before dying. Nobody listens when they're addicted, that's the problem. You've only gotta listen to the excuses to see that. And their own body is lying to them. The drug corrupting them, surviving itself through their addiction to it. The more it's their friend, the more they convince themselves it's giving them what they ask of it, the deeper they are. |

You gave heroin up because you wasn't on much and was on it for a short period. Same with the f*gs

I just started disliking the smell of them one day. Made things a bit easier, though I do still have a cig now and then if I feel like it.

oh and well done nomnom, though whatever you're smoking is unlikely to be doing you much good either.. it is animal friendly, and that was your goal. I can't imagine smoking eucalyptus, I've seen how dopey koalas are. |

I was always aware of the smell even though I was a heavy smoker. I was embarrassed. Always carried mints, but they make no difference. You can smell a smoker a mile off. Horrible smell

I can't imagine smoking eucalyptus, I've seen how dopey koalas are. yeah at the end of the day I am burning organic matter which gives off formaldehyde etc. but it smells nicer tastes nicer and is a subtle and massively different smell I can smoke in public n nobody knows what I'm smoking cause it's not that identifiable smell you get a whiff of when a stoner walks past in the street I tell you what though.. on a plant based diet I have no BO... but I can smell the weed in my sweat way more than ever before.. even if I've not had any that day..i guess it used to be disguised by other toxins eucalyptus has been smoked for 150 years for relief of asthma and bronchitis |
