@ sisfreak2017 - 20.11.17 - 07:38pm if you like FLAC files inbox usb plusgs he used to relif himself with them things it's 2017... MP3 is a thing in the past originally used to compress audio for distribution over dial-up connections. I remember things like getright and 128kbps one winged angel (and i'm not THAT old, i think i was like 13 or 14 back then) Also i made the mistake and went with minidiscs from 1999 to 2008. Lost several hundred albums when i had to throw them away when i moved. I also made the mistake of making poor LQ rips from discs and then burned those garbage quality rips to a CD. Should've gone with either making disc images (ISOs) or compress as FLACs from the get-go. |

A cassette revival? Not through my stereo there isn't. I didn't bi-wire four floorstanders into two amps to listen to music rubbed-off a magnetic ribbon. |

@ 3mel - 21.11.17 - 04:49pm isn't FLAC supposed to be lossless i.e. uncompressed ? Compression level is just how tightly it has been packed. From 0 to 8. I think the default is 5. The compressed files are always perfect, lossless representations of the original data. -- wikipedia |
