Bill Gates should rightfully be a trillionaire if you consider his contribution to the world economy through Windows alone. He should have been exempted from paying taxes ever again after that.

@ slwnoris - 4.11.19 - 08:47am No, but they should not be able to use the loopholes to not pay what they should be paying, let's have one tax system. PAYE is government choice when it comes to employees paying tax, if it good enough for the workers then it's good enough for billionaire bosses. This tax avoidance could be gone forever. Tax avoidance is legal. If you don't like it get your MPs to change the tax law. Everyone from a street cleaner to a billionaire uses tax avoidance. |

@ kimjongl - 4.11.19 - 08:50am Tax avoidance is legal. If you don't like it get your MPs to change the tax law. Everyone from a street cleaner to a billionaire uses tax avoidance. I used to claim for everything when I was self-employed! In fact, they'd sit there with me trying to convince me to claim on a second van I didn't even own.. |

@ slwnoris - 4.11.19 - 12:19pm The street cleaner? I think you will find there employees of a council and they would be on PAYE, so they have no chance to fiddle there taxes. Tax avoidance isn't fiddling taxes. You don't even know what tax avoidance is. Everyone from working class to middle class to the super rich use tax avoidance. |

@ recurve16 - 4.11.19 - 05:01am You honestly should refrain from using stats to try and prove a point or win a debate, we've all seen you make an ars* of yourself in the past when you try it. Do you think speed cameras make more or less cash than they did in 2010 ? Do you think Cowell earns more or less than he did in 2010 ? Remind us, how many seats on a double decker bus Of course Cowell and the Cameras make more money now. That was the first stat I pulled up...in order to show that even 9 years ago the Cameras were making much more than Cowell pays in tax. fkwit |
