i think that having a community aspect to my faith as being highly praised, to meet with my friends on a daily basis, allows 4 support encouragment and discussion to arise, and in this way strengthens my inner practice.

As a solitary Pagan, I prefer to keep my worship private, although I do chat with other Pagans on online communities.

meld is that a normal tradition within paganism? Or just something u prefer?
|

@meld | 11 February 08 | |
Well, Pagans can either be a 'solitary' or belong to a coven. I prefer to be a solitary, not being too keen on 'organised religion'.

I think people need religion to give them boundaries u look at the evil in the world there is nothing inside them to stop them frm doing evil thing when u hav faith its kind of like a rule book to keep us on track to eternal life without it we would hav no boundaries no reason

very well said honey, the great thing all major religions have in common is a basis for ethics and morality.

its these principles that can as ritely say keep us on the track, after all we all wish 4 happiness and freedom 4rm any sufferings we have, guidelines keep us 4rm crossing to a negitive act in search of that happiness.

the materialistic world, can add to our suffering, it strengthens our desires and attachments, is your faith a method to lessen the attachments we have and strengthen the resolve?

Religion should be to develop a person's character and elevate themselves.
