@ spartan2 - 8.03.13 - 05:36pm Or just make it easier to win like it was when Liverpool won it under him Id say it was easier for united to beat bayern, they should of bin in the uefa cup because they weren't even champions |

@silverjx | 9 March 13 | |
And when has Liverpool ever been Premier champions to warrant there last Champions League trophy? or Chelsea or a number of previous winners?
@spartan2 | 9 March 13 | |
So should Bayern.... fail argument Many many more strong clubs in the tournament if the top club aren't as strong as they were the season before when they were champs now you have the 2nd and the 3rd and maybe even the 4th club in that season all strong, one of them probably be the next champions. Bayern being a perfect example. The fact that league champions haven't always won the competition just shows how much more difficult it is to win with the amount of top clubs to beat, champs or not
@spartan2 | 9 March 13 | |
It was easier back in the day. Get over it
@cantona | 9 March 13 | |
Easier to win as the top sides were spread over the three competitions but harder to qualify for. It's as broad as it's long. At the end of the day you can only beat what's in front of you.

@spartan2 | 9 March 13 | |
If you were actual champs it was easier to win United wouldn't have qualified and neither would have Bayern and neither would have Liverpool when they won it for 5 United have been champs more than anyone the past 20 years and thus the most pops at it if it were the old format all that time, surely won it more, same as Liverpool did. Go figure, its all the same, United would have won it more in the old format if it existed now. Meh! Argue it any way you want
@spartan2 | 9 March 13 | |
Its all the same result easier to win, harder to qualify, easier to win at the time of Liverpool dominance than it is at the time of United domestic dominance deny it as you wish
@spartan2 | 9 March 13 | |
So you think its easy to win now what can I say. Deluded. The argument is what it is. In the time of Liverpool's domestic dominance the competition was easier to win. It aint a difficult thing to comprehend. When you play less games against lesser opponents with easier rules like the backpass rules and lighter reffing has been mentioned-it just is. Get over it my lad Things change. Didn't Souness break a guys jaw in to places with a punch, not even a yellow and played in the return leg FFS
@spartan2 | 9 March 13 | |
Yes you need to get over it you haven't presented anything useful at all except deny it is harder now to win if you have qualified Good luck with that view
@spartan2 | 9 March 13 | |
Hardman players what breaking someones jaw by punching them, not even getting a yellow, then being allowed to play in the second leg as if that would be allowed to happen in the Champions League these days. Times changed my lad you think it is easier now you just deny it and add nothing. Please add something useful? Seriously go nuts and make a single useful point if you even can
