I think you're right about that. But dude, my cpu and gpu each has that chip on every side of mobo. So in total, there are 4 chips on my mobo. So even if i can remove that part in the pic you're showing to me, there is still one other intel cpu that is soldered, and that's what i'm affraid will come off. I'm actually planning to wrap the mobo with aluminum foil tightly in 2 layers with gpu showing, and with some aluminum balls holding the chips on the bottom side. What do you think? Anyway, thanks fo

@ newt182 - 2.05.13 - 01:58pm Hardened glue? If so you have to leave it on. It shouldn't damage the board, but it might burn and go black. I think there is just the remaining glue, no paper left luckily dude. |

The 2nd pic looks like the cmos battery but it can't be removed. It's not the cmos battery because i already took it off.

Dude, another last question before i do this. If i wrap every element on the mobo with alumimum foil and then wrap the whole mobo with aluminum again, is that ok? Will it cause any damage?

I don't think I would do that. What happens if when the solder softens/melts and sticks to the foil..
