Perhaps a taste of what we can expect at MWC next month, the LG X3 looks to be one of the early challengers to HTC in the quad-core market. The robust processor comes courtesy of the Tegra 3 chipset by Nvidia, and while the 720p screen measures in at a quite large 4.7 inches, it supposedly manages to retain a slim 9mm waistline. LG plans to stick in a 2000mAh battery to power it all. |

Other highlights include 16GB of internal storage, 8MP camera (plus 1.3MP front-facing), capacitive b*ttons, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and an NFC transceiver. Also, the X3 should come with the latest Android, Ice Cream Sandwich, right out of the box. Expect the X3 (if it is still called that upon release), by the end of Q2 this year.

Interesting, lets see what MWC has in store. Im not convinced by that Tegra3 though, it just barely beats the dual-core Exynos by Samsung, cnt wait to see what more LG have though, they were the 1st with 3D last year and dual core.

Interesting. Doesn't trump the suggested Galaxy S3 specs though. Can't wait for MWC. I'm due an upgrade very soon.

Ive got an upgrade in late July, but im not sure if ill take it...lol i said that about my December one and come Dec i got a GS2 may just upgrade the tablet to an Asus Transformer Prime if my GT10.1 doesnt get ICS, but it seems it will. I want to just go 'cold turkey' for a year and not get a new gadget...screw it i hope MWC disappoints for my sake!

Feb 6th is my upgrade date. Even though i'm gagging to upgrade, i know i'll probably regret it if i don't hold on just a lil bit longer lol. I'm stuck with it 2 years so have to get the best.

More and more processor cores, but no one is bothered to optimize the android code.
