the most quietly brilliant root app you might never have heard of DISABLE SERVICE - Google PlayStore Link it literally does only what it says i.e. all the various functions of a system or user app is broken up into processes, my battery widget breaks down as follows : ActivityRecognitionManager BatteryUsageService BatteryWallpaperService ChargeAlertsService UpdateNotificationService UpdateWidgetService if I wanted to I can turn some of more useless ones off saving battery ram and freeing up clock time. you've gotta know what you're doing though, choose the wrong process, especially with system apps and you can brick your phone. but that's what googling is for right !? sick of ads on your free software, disable the ad service and never see them again... |

Advance Permission Manager Pro is another app I use and it doesn't need root link I normally use it to remove ''wake locks'' that keep the phone awake and ''start up on boot'' permissions

Greenify brilliant app, it hibernates apps your not using to save battery, even better if you the Xposed module.

I should add that with disable service you can long press on a service and choose to copy it to your clipboard, with that you can paste it into your browser search box and try to learn a little more about that process and whether it sounds like something you can live without here is a surprisingly poor xda thread on the app |
