I doubt many use file browsers. even for the novice a one click root app (seeing as it's kitkat) followed by SDfix is easier as it writes to your buildprop file. unrooting afterwards leaves you still good to go

I understand if you got limited internal memory but I always found apps run smoother when they are stored on internal memory

I simply just cut/move them to SDcard, I don't keep my multimedia files in the phone's internal memory. |
