Which is the best and most popular ad blocker app for android, besides the built in one? I'm tired of opening web pages only to be redirected and told the page at blah blah blah says you have won.... You have a virus.... Spin the wheel, etc etc etc.  Then you can't even use the back button on the browser to return to the previous page or dismiss the ad.... You physicaly have to close and re-open the browser to get rid of it??? |

use your history list to go back in those moments. adblockers can't do anything about javascript so don't expect too much from them.

OperaMini has that by default, that's why I installed it, to get rid of those pesky pop ups when trying to download something from those cancer upload sites.

I am using the Firefox browser with the uBlock Origin ad blocker add-on which works pretty well.

What phone are you using? If its a Samsung on Android 6.0, you can download AdBlock Fast and use it in the stock Samsung Web Browser (named 'Internet')

Its a xiaomi mi4w and i mostly use uc browser as the stock browser and opera mini are too slow on my phone.

I use adaway with full opera for android. very happy with it as it's constantly maintained and updated. it's no help on dodgy sites that redirect you without loading a new page though. haven't used opera mini in months but I found it was terrible to use in places like KAT (r.I.p), I'd get more headaches because the site knew it was an android and diverted me to playstore links. |

I got youtube ad away on my phone and if i watch catch up tv on my smart tv theres no adds no mre adds on any of apps that i use
