Nothing good to upgrade to. Phone upgrades are not exciting anymore. Used to be huge steps forward with new innovations. Now its just a slab after slab with small performance bumps. If the batteries lasted well there would be no need to upgrade in atleast 4 years. Im almost 2 years in on the s20 and i dont see anything to replace it with. The s22 phones feel like a downgrade. Can't even use a sd card anymore. Only the ultra has a screen equalent to the s20 with the pixels. Atleast the jump from a s8 to s20 had the 120hz smootness. I did hold onto the s8 for 4 years but the battery was just toast by that time.

so we have the ability since android 12 to turn off access to our microphones and cameras if we don't want apps to use them. however it seems that that can be stepped around already if a new law just passed in France is anything to go by. http://www.firstpost.com/explainers/explained-the-new-law-in-france-that-will-allow-police-to-spy-on-its-citizens-12838092.html |
