hiya. erm basically my ford ka has been on driveway for 2 weeks due to bad weather... I go to move it and my windscreen wipers wont work. my dad has looked at the fuse and it seems fine.. any ideas what it could be? please leave a comment. don't just read thanks in advance! :) |

all my other electrics work.. eg lights (some bulbs need replacing) and my heater works aswell. i just dno what else it could be :(

if you tried using the wipers when ur car was frozen or with piles of snow on will have burnt out the motors. cant imagine fiesta wipers being heavy duty so that will prob be it.

It can be 1 of 4 things. Fuse, motor, wiring or switch. You will need a little bit of know how and a means of checking for voltage for 3 of them. The easiest one is checking the fuse are you sure its ok? If it is the next thing you need to check, is there any voltage at the plug that attaches to the motor with wiper switched on ? If there is the motor has gone, if there aint its either the switch or the wiring which then gets more complicated as you will need to either just buy a switch and -

No my rear one dosent wrk either... But all my other electrical items work... Heater.... Lights.... Breaks etc. my dad taking it to garage today :(
