Got 160E loving this car. Problem is when i go faster than 140km/h hour it overheats. Just had the head gasket changed. Water seem to fill in more on the tank and leave the radiator empty |

firstly change your thermostat its cheap and easy. Check all your water pipes if they are not hard and brittle. Park your car on a level surface and rev it 3500rpm till the fan kicks in let it run for ten minutes and check under car for leaks. Don't let it overheat

also check your oil for white gunk maybe your macky did a bad job or fitted the wrong head gasket and its leaking from a water port onto your piston or something

Yep, be sure to also check to see if there is steam or water coming from your exhaust.

Man walks into a doctor. He stretches up and lifts his arm high in the air and says to the doctor it hurts when I do this. Doctor says well don't do it then. |

leave the thermostat out , they serve very little purpose other than stuff you about , make sure the oil in the car is not milky if it is your mechanic did a b*m job

maybe your rad needs cleaning. or at that speed the air flow over your thermostat is causing it to shut. so try covering it.
