Yeah that much I already knew myself but what I don't know is why I'm getting a engine overheating message ,could it be the coolant thermostat ?

cancel my last post your car has a cylinder head sensor when it fails it shows sender as reading red hot its located left side of cylinder head on the plate

there is air in the cooling system v6 engines usually provide lots of heat.
