any1 have experience with, or no anything about doing a 2 lift on a 300tdi discovery. i dont need anything too fancy, i only need the slight extra ground clearance,im not bothered about extra axle articulation. im lookin at just springs and shocks +2. will i need castor correction arms n all that cr*p? will a 2 lift without castor correction make the tyres wear unevenly? will it add more strain |

Hey bykaboy. 1st of al if its a disco1, u dnt hav any probs doin a cheap conversion. If its d disco2 ur gona have a prob wit d rear air suspention. Ok, lets say u hav a disco1.. Rite wher d lower coilplate joins d axle, u have a square plate wit 2 bolts keepin d coilplate secured. D lower shock mounting also bolts to d coilplate. U can loosen d coilplate frm d axle, nd put a spacer between d axle

..nd d lower coilplate securing it wit longer bolts again ofcoz.. It wnt influence anytin on ur drivetrain, suspention or alingment. Ul jst hav to make sure the spacers is made very presise! Nd ofcoz u must keep d lift exactly d same both frnt nd rear.
