Hey i had a similar prob with my p990 . Tell me 1 thing, do u av d memory card , that u got WITH THE PHONE? if yes, insert it n try downloading again. If it still fails , go for FW upgrade. FW upgrade definitely solves it. That's a guarantee.

Didnt get the mem card with the fone i already had 1 so used that! No1s talkin 2 me in pda forum hehe so thnx 4 that ne way

Well then FW upgrade shud DEFINITELY solve it. Download Sony Ericsson Update Service for that.
