IGN has had a lengthy play-time with Lost Odyssey and report back it is technical mess with framerate issues infecting just about every cinema and on most maps the animation looks like it was ported straight from a PS2 animation. Oh but they're not finished yet, there are also frequent and inconsistent load times complimented by visual stuttering as and when the new data loads up.

A free downloadable demo of the game will be available on the Playstation Store and Xbox LIVE Marketplace in early 2008. Devil May Cry 4 has been rated M for Mature by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB). (confirmed 720p at 60fps)

The latest hardware sales are in for the week ending December 2nd in Japan and the DS and Wii top the state of play selling 124,627 and 74,764 units respectively. The PSP closely followed with sales of 74,626 while the PS3 trailed a bit with 37,092 units sold.

The man behind the PS3 updates says they are trying to cut down on the amount of times they release a firmware update. He also said plans are underway to make updating easier and faster and they will probably be rolled out next year.

Nintendo has revamped its UK site and announced that Club Nintendo members can swap Stars for Wii Points Cards in The Wii Points Card Shop. So not only can you can now buy Nintendo memorabilia from Club Nintendo with your Stars, but you can also swap them for Wii Points and buy Virtual Console games.

Frank O'Connor form bu*ngie has commented that the team has no plans to work on any other platforms beyond the Xbox 360 currently. Another memeber commented MS has been good friends to them and bu*ngie is focused on making the best games they can right now on the 360.

EA has issued further comments on its success at selling 1 million comments of FIFA 08. An executive remarked to a trade publication that FIFA 08 is the only true next-gen football game on the market. He also stated that Konami admitted to rushing PES 2008 which has forced them to go back to the drawing board.

Konami may be looking to bring the Climax-developed prequel Silent Hill Origins to a wider audience next year with a PlayStation 2 port of the game. Released for the PSP worldwide this quarter, it now appears that Konami will have a PS2 version of the game ready for March of 2008.
