Is it possible to have too much garlic? How much is too much? I maintain that there is no such thing as too much garlic  . I made Chinese style '40 clove' roast chicken for Sunday dinner yesterday and instead of using the recommended 40 cloves of garlic as stipulated in the recipe, I used 10 whole bulbs worth. It was freaking amazing , even if I do say so myself but it could still have used a bit more garlic. |

Everything is good in moderation. It has its health benefits, I'm sure too much of it can be harmful, if even in the long run. Just like anything else. Anyway, I use a lot of garlic too, even garlic powder. |

If you use the powder, I guarantee you'll have to brush at least three times to get it out.. My thing to do is douse s slice of pizza with garlic powder- then greet people heavily after that.
