So, milk in glass bottles, being delivered by a man who delivers milk in glass bottles, is making a return. So, milk in glass bottles and milkmen. A good thing or not? Who here remembers the flippin blue t*ts pecking the lids off and sticking their dirty beaks in the milk? If millennials drank it they'd risk death. Bloomin softy snowflakes |

we used to have a bread delivery and corona fizzy drinks delivery too. guess it was a more northern thing. no, come to think of it, we had drink deliveries in London too. more of a 70s thing then like the milkman making economic sense. |

Showing your age , remembering those bread van deliveries mel i'd completely forgotten about those. Remember getting a piece of glass in my mouth once from those glass bottles. The express milkmen used to deliver lots of other things too. Orange, teabags, eggs, cheese, chickens. Although those were usually just at weekends Was good when camping out, borrowing peoples things. |
