I spoke to the apple service centre n they were clear that I have to send it to singapore or Australia apple owned service centres. Ad international warrant excludes india I can't get the f@?ing fine repaired here. They also said it's a hardware issue!!

Do u have iPhone 4 than many are facing the problem. There is no other solution than Apple store

You could try to repair it yourself? The iPhone 4 is much easier to take apart than previous ones.

Don't even know how to take it apart. Won't b able to put it back too. Anyways thanx to u all for the immense help. I'm now sending it back to Singapore n I'll know the outcome soon hopefully.

That don't sound right apple telling u to take it to were u bought it from that wrong info given to u maybe they are trying to fob u off my 3GS was from a O2 contract when I had a problem I took it to my local apple store in bham they exchanged it and my ip4 is on orange I had a home button problem I booked a appointment with the genius bar and had a replacement with in 5 minutes of having my phon
