Do you think its worth upgrading to the iPhone 4S from the iPhone 4? with IOS5 on my iPhone 4 I'm not sure there's much point unless you take lots of photos Siri seems good but not good enough to make me buy a new iPhone. |

Well replicating Siri is not a joke really. It was funded by DARPA at the beginning and then they pulled out. It's not like someone just sit at home 1 fine morning and starts developing Siri. It's an ongoing project and pretty challenging IMHO.

Someone will do it maybe nuance might develop there dragon software for it I already use there dictation voice to text software and I think it's awesome

Dragon dictation and Siri r 2 completely different concepts. Creating a detection app is way easier than developing an intelligent system like Siri. Making a computer understand a the context behind a sentence or a statement is really a tough challenge. Ask me, I've worked on AI for long enough to understand the complexity.
