I know most music from that era, back to the 60s, some from the 80s but that is it, am not into anything much from the 90s to the present classical/easy listening more my scene,

I know most music from the 60s but i was asking about 1971 lol. Who was still making hit records in the late 60s? Gerry and the pacemakers, The Searchers and Cher are still around today so it could be one of them. Obviously only you and i can remember that far back, wolfie, it was 50 years ago lol.

Just browsing over older threads when this one came to my attention, got me googling outta curiosity. Gosh ''cherish'' by David Cassidy was this year, we had the bell records 7'' in my house as a kid in the 70s. I can still see the silver label
