Either A sharp or B flat?

either A sharp or B flat but both notes are the same thing and can be called either one of the two and this space between A and B is called an interval, and the distance on the guitar between two notes is two frets or a full tone! which is made up of two halfs which are semitones! from A to A sharp is one semitone and from A sharp or B flat to B is another semitone and two semitones add up to a full tone and a semitone is one fret on the guitar unless starting from E or B coz theres no interval

so in light of do ray me etc if u started on the A note it wud be Doh...B wud be RAY and C wud be Mi....D wud be FAH....E wud be SOH....F wud be LA.....G wud be be TI and back to A wud be DOH again its 8 notes if u include the second root note A...and wud be twelve notes if u count the sharps or flats

but that is only the major scale, ill go into the minor scale later on but for now go back to the open E bass string if u put ur finger on the first fret then because theres no interval between E and F and the open string is E then the first fret note held down wud be F then a whole tone to G another whole tone to A etc...and work ur way upto the twelfth fret following what i explained and u should find the twelfth fret note to again be E
