Well that's where you are going wrong. Using your fingers and not the edge of your thumb. That's what I do and I can hit tiny links. My dad had the thickest fingers of anyone I know and he manages with a crappy 5inch android. If you have the n95 8gb then you must be struggling to hit the top row on the keypad. Did you know you can change the android qwerty to numerical input? Just like the n95 but easier to hit |

I share your frustration sp*nkydj which is why I use a basic phone just for calling and texting. I find I sometimes touch the wrong letters on touch screens, which drives me up the wall. I find it much easier and quicker to text on a phone with a real keypad plus the battery lasts a dam site longer than a smartphone making it great for the basics.
