does anybody know any apps that continue running in the background eating away at your data? im on o2 and it use to be unlimitied data but now they have clamped down and its 500mb, and they have already text to say iv used it and to buy a bolt on! anybody else peed off with o2 changing it? |

on Orange the fair usage is 250mb a month but u dont get charged if u go over it... this is for the Blackberry service btw too... with regards to apps... i dont use many apps personally but weather apps... facebook... basically any apps that use the net to update themselves are the ones u need to watch out for...

if you want to know whats still running, from home screen hold down the BlackBerry menu button. if you use things like twitter then make sure your setting don't update too often as that will drain the battery.

using 500mb is very hard to do, blackberry BIS actually compresses all traffic before it gets to your phone. i'm a heavy user with maps,facebook, accuweather and a load of other apps running constantly, and most i've used is 107mb in a month.
