crail. they need help fast .maybe there marketing ppl need sacking or they need some one to buy them as a going consern. this time next year i can see headlines being nokia down the pan . its sad when it happens but they didnt invest when they needed too. too little to late i suppose .

honestly from what phones ive had its that nokia cant compete, its like they cant even be bothered. the lumia 800 would be a great phone if it had half the features from my old n95.

the first generation of lumias like the 800 and other makes like the htc hd7 and htc titan originally shipped with windows phone 7. Some can be updated to 7.5 mango or 7.8 but no further than that. But Any phone that shipped with wp8 can be updated to 8.1.

the reason why wp7 phones cant be updated is cos wp7 works on and old kernal, the same as the old windows mobile platform. Wp8 and 8.1 works on a newer kernal which the older hardware isnt compatible with.
