Okay, I was wrong. This is a tornado outbreak. We have had around fifteen tornado warnings in this area today and it looks like two more are on the way. But these are very megar tornadoes and might not even qualify as F0. More like a decent dust devil. |

We have a cold front stalled over us and this might last a few days.

Well, the final count of tornadoes in yesterday's outbreak has not been counted yet, at least fifteen. Luckily only one home was lost and there were no injuries or deaths. Looking at the damage shows me at least one will be an F2 or F3.

We have a very powerful storm system moving through the Southwest. Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and fixing to move into the central United States. We've had tornadoes in Abilene Texas and quite a few radar indicated tornado warnings here in Oklahoma, it looks like it's going to shape up for a very bad tornado outbreak in the central United States.

It's hard to tell how powerful a tornado is from videos and images, but If I had to guess, the tornado that hit near Abilene Texas this morning was about an EF-2 or EF-3.

Had a widespread tornado outbreak here in Oklahoma yesterday and this morning, even one passed by my neighborhood at 6:34 this morning. We also received over five inches of rain across the whole region. So far only minor injuries have been reported. |
